Battlestar Galactica
from the original Battlestar Galactica series!
I was requested by a client to assemble, paint, and detail a Timeslip Models kit of the starship Battlestar Galactica from the television series of the same name.
Created by Glen Larson (of Knightrider fame, among others), Battlestar Galactica told the story of an entire race of Humans who are expelled from their home star systems and hunted to extinction by the inhuman Cylon Empire. A battlestar is the space equivalent of an aircraft carrier. The Galactica is the only one of twelve such vessels to survive the attack on what was supposed to be the eve of a peace conference ending a thousand year war. (Later, a second ship, the Pegasus, is revealed to have survived.)
