The 1970's were full of Trucker movies. The most popular had to be the adventures of The Bandit and his partner Snowmen who took on any challenge of time and speed to make a buck. In the original "Smokey and the Bandit" film Burt (Bandit) Reynolds and Jerry (Snowman) Reed agree to haul a load of beer from Texarkana crossing the territory of an unethical country sheriff (the eponymous "Smokey" ) portrayed by Jackie Gleason in one of most memorable roles.
Bandit takes the lead as spotter in his black Pontiac Firebird, finding trouble (as well as a runaway bride) and running interference for Snowman in his black and gold Kenworth 900 Tractor Trailer. This model captures Snowman's Kenworth in all its glossy glory.
